The Z box business allegedly ki-led IBM in Q2 causing $70B in market value to evaporate. If that is true, then Q3 and Q4 and 2027 will make Q2 look great. Z is heading for an iceberg at full speed.
@a5 I was very active at conferences presenting what I knew and making IBM look really good. My manager seemed to care and value it, but his managers didn't give a flying blanky blank. The last time we saw any conference travel paid for was in 2022. Our new VP was Jill F under Matt Loathsome. Never saw a penny of conference funds since she took over. I doubt they will ever see conferences funded again.

It will be turned back on once layoffs are over. They don’t want hotels and plane tickets booked for folks that might let go.
