There is a unique kind of professional dread that comes with sitting in a mandatory weekly roundtable for a company with no remaining backlog. Being asked what are you working on when the answer is effectively nothing, because we are sitting ducks turns corporate communication into pure performance art. It highlights a painful gap in leadership when routine replaces reality, forcing employees to invent micro-tasks just to fill the silence.

I beg to differ on the backlog part. In ISG, our backlog is endless with thousands of high priority must have epics and stories that have been prioritized for years.
The problem is engineering only works on half of one every other year or so.
powerflex backlog was all taken by Israel/India as always AI ;)
sharpen the saw, Brotha
There is more backlog right now then the top 4 qtrs ever combined.
Care to tell us which part of the company? Professional Services? Development?
Truly NO backlog, depending on the area, spells layoffs.
