After another sleepless night, I realize that this job has cost me so much mental health that being shown the door with severance is now sounding much better to me than staying here and going through the same thing again and again. So bring it on, I say.

When people post that they hope they get laid off, I’m curious if they understand how horrible this job market is right now. It’s not like you’re going to get laid off and have a job setup in a few months. Many people have been out of work for upwards near a year.
