The company is changing and not for the best. All I can say is do what is best for you if you see the writing on the wall it’s time to bail out.
@de after leaving Shell and being at another company, I would say Shell does not care for its people and many of the things Shell says it stands for it does not compare to its competitors
It’s a sad sign of the times. Shell was once a company where you could spend 30+/- years working different assignments, traveling for industry-leading projects, maybe get an expat posting for a few years and retire with a funded pension, a fat Provident Fund, continued life insurance and family medical benefits.
We don’t get to choose the times into which we’re born and random good fortune is usually only apparent after the fact.
And when it comes to caring about staff today, Shell is far from the enterprise it once was.
But maybe working here would look a lot better after leaving, then firing off endless cvs and depleting a pkg.
You’re just realizing this now???
