Assigned to go to Bothell through RTO email. Requested Atlanta and management and HR approved it. However HR isn't willing to send an email future location will be Atlanta. Did anyone face this?

@a4 they sent the updated letter within the day once it was approved, but the timeline to move didn’t change. I’d check in about your updated letter, but it feels meaningful that they’re stalling this hard over it.

I got assigned NJ, fought it, got assigned Dallas….eventually got virtual.
HR are all snakes.
HR says they have no way to regenerate a letter with new location. WTH?
People are saying that as long as Jeremy works there, ATL will be hub. Also as long as there is rich, Charlotte will be hub.
I haven’t heard of many people being able to relo to Atlanta. There were some, but it was only because most of the team was in Atlanta and they got exceptions. Atlanta won’t be a hub in a few years, it’s just on a longer timeline than other locations. Stanks made it clear many years ago that he didn’t want to keep Atlanta.
They still have no space in any of the Atlanta area offices to house the people already here. Much less what is in the works for future moves. Don’t know why they are doing this to people.
They are not going to help you to choose your preferred location. RTO and FTW is about max pain in hopes you quit.

@a2 my change has been approved 3 months ago, but still didn’t get the updated letter. Don’t know what is going on..
@a2 Did they send the updated letter immediately after VP approval? Also, Did you get any extension when a new letter got generated?
They should send you an updated RTO letter once the change is approved. I swapped my location and had no issue.
