Thinking about taking an external role. If so, will I get paid for unused PTO or should I use it all before I put in my notice?

Use your volunteer and floating holiday, those do not get paid out to you.
Ask HR. These types of questions are as d-mb as #your-voice.
You’ll get paid for the unused PTO. If you’ve already used some PTO you can go back and change some to the floating/volunteer days which you would not be paid for and that increases the days for which you will be paid.
It will get paid out to you.
