Thread regarding Nike Inc. layoffs

Per the WARN act. Does Nike need to report planned layoffs for employees they find out spending more time increasing their side hustle income

while on the clock at Nike, rather than concentrating on their employee responsibilities? This would be for all the Influencers at Nike posting all day at work including Only Fans posters.
Could Nike change the layoff to a firing when they find out the number of hours at work these people spend posting?

Why don’t posters quit their Nike job since they say they make a lot more money posting on Only Fans than their job at Nike pays them?

Side hustles are a popular way for people to earn passive income and build wealth. As long as someone performs well in their primary job, it doesn’t matter what else they do in their free time. Let people pursue their interests and passions. The ultimate goal in life is to build generational wealth for our families, not to create long-term success of a public company. Side hustles are just one source of income, not the most important thing in life.

I know of many people at Nike who engage in other activities. In fact, any new Vice President hired will have disclosures about their investments in other companies, compensated advisors or board roles, and other sources of income. Nike has always been open to this as long as it doesn’t interfere with their success in their designated role.

So, go out there and earn those dollars!

There’s this person on my team who makes working at Nike her entire personality and posts about her everyday routine. She has thousands of followers on insta. Make that bag I guess…
