@f4 leadership will be wrong on putting all their eggs on Medicare advantage or any govt program.
I imagine there will continue to be layoffs in Medicare the next year or two as teams continue to integrate HS with Blue.
If anything it’s going to be blue employees. HS is the future. It’s already been decided.
Bull cr-pola. Stop starting rumors
@dt health spring numbers?
@ca my guess is that is Healthspring numbers.
Well, we won the Medicaid bid. Last year, Medicaid layoffs happened due to cutting layers of management. Since we won the bid, it'd be silly of management to layoff in the Medicaid line of business, but my hopes aren't too high.
@cx That’s me. When I’ve worked my hours for the day, I log off. The building could be burning down and I’d log off anyway!
Years ago, my team was on mandatory overtime for months. The last few years, there’s enough work for the day. Now, we run out of work.
Iceberg in the distance.
@c8 actually capa and actuary said we are growing our membership in the last update. so the metric is not the number of accounts but total membership size
@c8 won’t be around here for bonus time. Hardly business illiterate as well. Probably old enough to be your parent or grandparent. Blah, blah, blah.
@c6 you must be new or business illiterate. We have a massive hole to dig out from. And they can make numbers say anything. We are losing clients, not selling new accounts, and losing g network credibility. But you keep believing that - until bonus time.
@c6 haha, if their lips are moving, they’re lying! The sooner they let me go, the better!
Why would there be layoffs? We are making money now, they said so in the divisional town halls. We are net margin positive and projected to be unless the actuarial and capa teams mess up forecasting as always
Sooner the better honestly
@ad promise?
Sooner.
