Have noticed several posts disappearing and I doubt the author deleted them. Is this website censoring posts or Hertz asking the website to censor and delete?

I found this on the AT&T board, but I think it applies here just as well. Just swap "T" for "Hertz."

The actual (TLDR) content rules can be found in the page footer, this is the abridged version of things that aren't allowed:
- foul language and insults
- names and personal info of employees or mgrs
- threats
- trolling
- spamming (or tons of posts with the similar text)
- impersonating
- off-topic posts about politics, religion or race/nationality/ethnicity
- direct advertising
- illegal
There are hundreds of active forums here, and rules above are the same for all of them. It's pretty obvious that T doesn't have any influence over this site, if they had there would be zero threads left, cause I don't see a single post here that sings praises to T.
They might be reading /reporting some posts or writing to page to take something down, but unless they have some legal ground for it, nothing will happen.
So, if you follow the site rules and US libel laws and the post will stick.

Website. IP addresses, some content and phrases.
I noticed that too. There was a recent post on Add None and another one last week on Gilly West. Both disappeared overnight.
Doesn’t matter. You can censor us but you can’t hide anymore the realities of the company: rampant incompetence, extreme financial gymnastics, poor service, poor product, poor results. As one of the few competent employees left here, we are angry and disappointed at the senior leadership, the Board, investors heads. One bad decision after another. Thankfully I have a job lined up in September at a competitor that is growing and investing. 20+ years at Hertz and at this point zero hope left (many other long timers are now feeling the same way)
