Viasat logic = hire/promote more execs and lay off the "little guy" and make sure that those left behind work the job of three people for "market value" pay.... yeah right. This place is such a joke.

@1fx Because Viasat can’t launch a GEO bird without it having an anomaly. If it had launched 20+, then it would be in the region of acceptable risk probability. But it hasn’t. VS3-x were high-risk with a complex bus, antennae and payload design. They are also very late meanwhile the industry has moved to both small GEO and Tbps LEO alternatives

Seems late. What’s up with that?
@138 It has not.
Has Viasat 3. - F2 service started yet for Comm Air and/or residential customers?
It has begun
The Viasat culture is being ki-led off. Rebecca Grattan is the worst thing that has happend to Viasat since Guru. Her leadership is a joke, her announcements are a master class in how to spend 30 minutes saying absolutely nothing. she knows it too. The "helpful/unhelpful" and other feedback tools are gone or defunct for anything she has anything to do with. Those that plan on staying are hoping she is gone soon. Everyone else is actively looking.

They couldn't wait for the holidays like usual? That's so much more fun. Jobs get harder to find and you get to skimp on gift spending. Somebody is slipping.
Saw a couple engineers deactivated in Slack... Thought I was seeing things
@g6 I didn't see a California WARN notice, are these 30 spread out over the company, or at the HQ?
My best wishes for those who got RIFd, I've been there, it's not fun.
