There has been no mention about RTO for mortgage. In fact, in NJ, PA and parts of NY, the closest hub is NYC which is way outside of the 30 miles everyone is talking about. Any word on this?

RTO is the least of your problems when your jobs are getting shipped to India. Chennai office has a 5000 capacity and rumors are the Hyderabad one will have 3x - 5x capacity.
@x2 Mileage wasn’t a consideration for our staff. One of them lives 52 miles away and they were RTO recently.
@wz so what happens if someone is say 50-90 miles from the nearest hub?
I heard a little while ago that most of mortgage will be offshored to India. Haven’t verified that but you could check in the career center for open mortgage positions
30 mile radius no longer matters. We RTO our remote staff recently.
I work in mortgage and have been RTO since September 2024.
We just got a new person that got stuck in one of the Philly hubs. Don't ask me why, considering HM has absolutely nothing to do with any of their local business lines, but "collaboration and culture!"

Look on the Job Search board for India. I think most of mortgage ia going offshore.
