we have to hire at a career fair, without hours, put the new hires on payroll and not schedule them. what is happening here?

@1k1 They won’t fix the A/C. They straight up don't have the money and their credit is one step away from default. Although even if they had the money they still wouldn’t fix it. Doesn’t affect them personally.

A career fair? Really? First they need to talk about getting functioning air conditioning in stores, and opening more than one fitting room. Give me a Break!!

It's more deception. By hiring more people it makes it look like they are trying to do something about the lack of staff on the floor. And they think by always keeping an ad active that it makes them look like they are a successful company.
Belk is in trouble. everybody knows it. why try to hide it or mislead people? i don't get it.
Belks whole concept is deception. The lies and manipulation are really bad. It's the same at my store. They are cutting hours from part time people and hiring other people that already have a full time job and giving the hours to them.
