Were there any layoffs in operations/configs? Are they even ever going to hire on new contractors? I've known contractors that have been here for 2-3 years.....

@gk is it something good or bad that's going to happen in November? Will the warehouse coworkers be affected in any way? I'm currently a warehouse coworker, should I stay on with CDW through November or should I start looking for a new job soon?

Forgot to add... they might be trying to increase direct drop ships from distribution or MFG's as they can still charge for shipping as pure profit on those orders.
There was a pilot program last year with some sellers that awarded some GP commission dollars on the shipping on orders.

What else could they mean by "unionize before then"
Warehouse coworkers might actually be the ones to actually bring in a union as it's outside the corporate/office setting.
Could also mean more automation maybe?
The upcoming earnings call might shed some light on things depending on if overall sales/order numbers are increasing or decreasing but regardless, leadership seems to want to run with a leaner workforce.

I read it as if the poster means there will be more layoffs. I could be wrong but that is how I read it,
