@hv In 1Q25 when we were placing orders for some specific employee assets we had to set a floor for capitalizing the asset. The floor we set was based on 80K employees. Some of the calcs we used were looking at revenue per employee of our competitors. We knew that Stank is not really capable of growing revenue so we made the assumption that head count cuts would continue.

@OP whatever the number, its still too high for stankey. Executives, VPs, and a handful of specially groomed technology, legal, and financial SMEs will run AT&T. Everyone else will be part of the extended workforce - regardless of your perceived worth. Plano with its 2.3M sqft in office space will be the optimal venue for Workforce 2030.

Ask yourselves, why do we need that much space given the massive shedding we've done and will continue to do? Answer: Vendors. AT&T can't charge an employee rent to sit in an office but they sure as heck can charge a vendor who wants to play in our space. And, vendors are easy to send packing. And, unlike FTEs, we never have spend a cent on severance! Hooray for WF2030!

@h6 correct. If things stay on course, around 80k ish by 2030 at a clip of roughly 10% per year until then.

Word on the street is 10% less now, so approx 120k. Going to be another 10% cut in Sept and again in Jan, so end result will be about 97k by Jan 27. Then some more cuts to get down to under 80k which is the target. Let us all hope that Stank gets cut before then.

AT&T had 133K employees at the end of 2025. It has to be closer to 120K employees after the last June/July layoffs.

So at 133000 this means another 53K-63K jobs are to cut in order for T to be right-sized per Staneky' master plan to profitability and continued dividend payout strategy
