@15k And I'm not saying he isn't. He could very well be a saint. I'm saying lawfare is deterred me from the traditional route. Good faith backfired which is why I moved out of Oakland County and back to here where I grew up. I'm not saying he himself went out there to play torment the little brown boy (haha). I'm saying it unfortunately had happened under his purview. Whether attention was raised or not for him to be aware back then is not my point. @15c John James must not like when false information is spread online about them (the link is to what seems to be a separate John James), but the impact feels the same for those with limited incentive unless one sits down to look. But we can look at things that are real like John James who literally represents my district, last week talking about how he fought radical extremists in Iraq. I spoke up against ford and I was born and raised a Muslim. He should not be allowing a company to harass a constituent in his district that spoke up, nonetheless invading that constituents privacy and causing him turmoil unnecessarily online regarding him to address things rather than focus on their own life goals in their mid 20s. The only ones who should seek mental health are the ones who are treating me like a te------t while terrorizing me here. If you look into stuff that happened covertly since I spoke up you will see what I mean. So you can make comments about mental health all you want but when it comes down to speaking on absurdity, we can talk about how my mom who is part of a non profit, gets labeled into being called a te------t after I submit a report with a gov agency providing evidence about a formal cover up here and then getting swarmed with alpr stalking in real life using flock cameras then getting preemptively discredited and called crazy when I tried to raise attention to the harassment I was experiencing for speaking up. None of this was okay. If you look into my upbringing in John Jame's district, you will also see he has a historical record when it comes to abuses, there is literally proof of abuses done to me in the utica community school system spanning back in Elementary from multiple teachers, not just one.. before that school shut down.

@ze were you happening to stalk this neighbor you “turned down”? creepy you heard your neighbors discussing this and assumed it was about you, perhaps their friend was suggesting making a sugar free cookie? Did you continue monitoring and writing love notes to this neighbor too?

@g4 This reminds me of a random story. One time, a neighbor asked to borrow some sugar, and I, of course, obliged as a friendly neighbor. Then they wanted to take me out as a thank you. I don’t think they actually cared about the sugar. In fact, I remember that hearing the neighbor’s friend encouraging them to skip the sugar part entirely long before that, which makes me suspect their intention was never actually to borrow sugar.

They probably forgot that part because they were turned down by me. It’s okay, though. To be nice, I chose to forget about the interaction too. If I interacted with that same neighbor in the future afterward, they’d probably assume I was just messing with them rather than me genuinely trying to understand their true intentions.

And no, this anecdote is not indirectly about anyone in the workplace either. I genuinely mean that this was a real, very random and limited personal interaction I had with someone outside of work, and also not from work. Life is so complicated sometimes! Hopefully that neighbor doesn't hold a grudge thinking I hate them or something :)
