@OP you haven’t heard anything because WF doesn’t have some kind of monopoly on employment. Unions only thrive in niche areas.

I do not think Union efforts will resolve the situation - I mean, they still have not found Jimmy Hoffa, have they ?

Unions will achieve very little other than confiscating more of your paycheck while putting a big bullseye on you for the next round of layoffs. The reality is that most WF employees dont possess any knowledge that cant be replicated by someone making a lot less elsewhere.

Yeah technically there are like 30+ branches that are fully unionized and the Intake department within Conduct Management. However WF hasn't negotiated a contract despite the employees winning their elections. Normally the NLRB would jump in and tell them to negotiate with them but DOGE kinda wrecked the NLRB so they don't have any teeth. After that the leaders were laid off one by one.

Assume all union organizers were displaced.

While good on paper and this would work in an ideal world of fair play at the upper level, the company has proven that even if you are quiet and loyal you can still get RIFed and replaced with arbitrage labor.

The vocal union supporters are just taking the guess work out of who to select for RIF and replacement with the more compliant and indentured individuals.

Sad but true.
