Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Where are all the people going?

All I keep reading is people boasting how they left this place. Well, I want to leave Honeyhell as well but I can't find anybody who's hiring, or at least anybody who's hiring at comparable pay. So please, be kind and share with the rest of us, who's currently hiring? Where are you all going?

If you're older than 40 it can take a few years to actually land a job. Most are hiring be grads even for advanced work.

You must be management, looking for answers from everyone else...that's their M.O.

I left Honeywell after I was denied an interview for an internal job that I was more than qualified for. The job was given to a very underqualified fellow countryman of the hiring manager. Got poached by a competitor for the same job with a higher title and double the pay, and insane benefits. Now I watch the house of cards collapse from the outside. My heart joyfully flutters hearing about the demotions, firings and stupid s—t coming from Vimals mouth, and finding Honeywell’s sloppy marketing brochures with “loreum ipsum” printed on it just reminds me how much my life has improved from leaving. Honeywell is a laughingstock in the industry. My advice to you is to make friends and stay close to the high achievers who exit Honeywell and doors will open for you in unexpected way.

Be proud of the company you are at. Stop complaining. There’s literally AI at your fingertips and Honeywell is a playground of opportunity to make a name for yourself. The Honeywell brand is strong - blame DA for what happened. Blame financial engineering. Blame the distorted economics we have. But the soul of Honeywell will return, and the advent of Honeywell Technologies creates the necessary launchpad.

Monday cannot come soon enough!!!!

I haven’t left yet (already resigned) but going to a similar job at a higher level in a different industry. Not a dramatic change but definitely an upgrade.
