Missed opportunities

So many missed potential sales with these Amazon returns. The dinosaurs in leadership stuck on old rent-to-own tactics trying to convert non rent-to-own people into customers instead of making our business meet their needs and earn their business. I've had success selling to these people and let's just say $.01 starts doesnt work. Averaging $140 in cod with these sales. It can be done. Need new fresh minds at the top. Stop holding us back!

@199 Exactly my point. "Follow the program" The do what I say mentality. RAC is full of this. Someone sitting in a cozy office at fsc is paid to come up with these offers (probably ai told them). Why would a store that is actually doing it know what is working and what isn't? Why would you ask stores for feedback? Same response from dm. Oh you're successful? The rest of the district is struggling why would I care to know whats working for your store to try with other stores. Yeah just be a good employee, Shut your mouth and follow direction and fail with the rest of us! Sounds great! Imagine being an employee thats having success with a new program doing something a little different then and wanting to share the success so other stores can also have success to be constantly shut down and told to blindly follow the program and fail. 10 out of 10 place to work. No wonder why there has been so many manager openings lately.

Follow the program, rac pays someone to do the research for you so that stores can the realize the full potential from the increased foot traffic. I probably know the person at fsc that does all your sales events so just follow the program.

@143 You clearly missed the point of the post. RAC stores are now an amazon return hub with the hope of making these people customers. They have a big push of converting these specific people most of who never have heard of rac so they clearly dont need rent to own. The offer they are telling us to push is $.01 starts an agreement which isnt working. It devalues our merch and causes hesitation. You're statement about $25 is correct for your average rto customer. I am indeed averaging slightly over $140 in cod for amazon return sales. I am just stating most stores I've spoke with over the last 8 weeks have only converted 1-3 total. Ive now converted almost 20. They only push the penny starts, I am not. I'm thinking outside the box. So for the company they are missing alot of potential sales by trying to use old rto tactics for non rto customers hence the reason of my original post...

Your customers don't have 140.00 bucks but they do have 25.00 cod vs 20.00 free time. See, you have to be able to do math as it relates to your customers. They are not making a rac dm salary, new thing in rto? Just call it buy now pay later if you want to reinvent the wheel. Btw, i have forgot more about rto than anyone working at rac will ever know
