With all the doubt around the campus I sent my resume for a role. Turns out the role, through an agency, is with my team and the agent sent my resume to my manager. She wants to meet me Monday, can I be fired for looking for other work in this time of uncertainty?

Why on earth would an agency send a Citi employee to Citi. They won't get a fee 🤣
But no, you won't get fired. I'm a manager and my team has always told me when they have applied to something interesting and I've helped them prep for interviews.
Not if you are looking in NY/NJ, you’ll be safe cuz WARN notice. 30 days this, 60 days that, and then 90 days. Problem solved.
