Does anyone know if the T&Cs on the sign off for the severance package prohibit the following:
Working for the competition .
Engaging with AT&T customers as a consultant as part of a private LLC
Any conditions on whistle blowing

As someone who was laid off the end of last year by another corporation, go see an employment attorney. Have them review it and make sure you fully understand what you’re signing. There are caveats in between the words in those agreements. Shouldn’t have anything to do with a noncompete, but you need to really truly understand the ins and outs of your agreement
Non competes were shut down by the courts recently. You will not see that. You will have to agree not to sue in some form or fashion but that does not prevent lawsuits for illegal activity by the company. Don’t file suit before the check clears though.
