I was kicked out at that time our VP specifically told us not to hire Indians ..I was shocked .so yes Farnborough HR first doesn't exist 2nd they don't have any power .
But still better than other sites , I remember my Indian colleagues in India had to suffer verbal abuses and no HR action was taken as the PE OF THE chip was a director and he had connections ....
The Farnborough office did employment abuses ;which is questioned by site HR manager but the EMEA HR director failed to correct abusive engineering management.
HR is a natural role for them. Not much work for most of the time, and for 1/4 of the year, you can naturally be spiteful.

All the jobs are being outsourced to India. They have build two new huge development centers in Chennai and another city in Andhra state or nearby.
They have closed so many buildings in San Francisco Bay Area. Even San deigo is full of H1-Bs and Indians.
