I feel like Met is constantly hitting us up for lobbyist money. Give me a stock purchase plan and then maybe I'll give you PAC money.

They have some nerve sending me these emails after they decided to cut my raise and AVIP to pay their cronies more. SVP actually admitted this to my AVP boss and the dum fuq DEI cu-t didn't know they weren't supposed to disclose that. Well now they can just F off. Maybe don't sc--w over your best employees on comp and they might be inclined to reciprocate. Go after the people you gave my money to, you MF'ers!
The insurance company I am at now has never asked. I always thought it was a little shady.
follow the money... it leads back to the CEO's homeland.
This does nothing to protect your job. My colleagues who donated have all been cut. Avoid.
@OP Exactly. I doubt I even agree with their PAC's goals.
Here's a tip: If you work for a non-US manager (in the USA), you'll get the corporate email about the PAC, but the (non-US) managers won't bother you because the corporation cannot ask for (and they cannot give) money to US PACs.
It's corporate prosperity gospel.
The only time we hear about the PAC is when they want money. Never about what they're trying to accomplish or how it benefits employees.
