Son, stop dreaming. Get to work.
Anyone who understands the semiconductor industry as a whole knows this. I'm so tired of seeing people who don't know anything past the 1 company they've worked for as their source of pride and ego. You have to get out of your head and find your source of meaning that isn't related to the corporation you're under, rather, the work you want to do.
There are plenty of other companies that you can always apply to if you're miserable. Capitalism is going to chew you up and sp-t you out if it keeps the machine going either way, so why waste your time acting like anyone owes you anything.
Just a thought.

What are you talking about? TI is not even a cutting edge semiconductor company so I don't know what dreams you have other than a standard engineering career that pays the bills. Get a hold of yourself and grow up
