I am hearing close finalizes today and Monday everyone is a Trew employee? I don't see this playing out without a layoff round or two...

Transnorm is pretty self-sufficient concerning employees/functions. Expensive, sure, but with own design and own data system. So they will either keep it as standalone EU part for special customized orders or sell it to some EU based company later.. who knows.

Any guess what the plan for transnorm is?

Relationship to Trew? They are going to merge to the two companies, nothing else makes sense. Given the track record I'd expect Trew leadership to take over in most cases.

Unless they want to expand to EU and into metrics, which will be big investment (unlikely for such company). Its pretty clear what part stays and what part goes.

I am excited to see the final result of the AIP takeover. I.e. The name of the new company? Locations of facilities? President? I'd also be curious as to the relationship to Trew.

@ny Honeywell's gas detection business, they have crippled it over the last few years. Ruined, like everything else they touch!

They are probably putting together a high level org chart for day 1. I'm hoping all the future shapers stay in charge to shape the future of the new company.

The “reins” are all that is left. Honeywell ki-led the horses and ate them years ago.

AIP has been investing heavily in Trew. I’m sure they see Intelligrated as an underperforming business they have the exact expertise to fix.

AIP owns TREW who are guys who sold Intelligratd to Honeyhell years ago. They are buying it back for fraction of former value. But AIP is buying companies to make profit, so every cost will be removed and rest sold.
