what exactlys the point of telling a customer we will give them one month free for insurance, perk if the customers are going to cancel it anyway? doesnt it hurt the company?

Because some people will forget, and they will get paid and not charged back, and it will make number go up

If you worked retail, you know customers will forget to cancel especially those who have auto-pay on the account. Sketchy but it is what it is
