what exactlys the point of telling a customer we will give them one month free for insurance, perk if the customers are going to cancel it anyway? doesnt it hurt the company?

1 month will lead to chargebacks. Gotta up it to 3 months
Because some people will forget, and they will get paid and not charged back, and it will make number go up
@OP yes but, you increase the chance of it staying on the account vs a no from the start.
If you worked retail, you know customers will forget to cancel especially those who have auto-pay on the account. Sketchy but it is what it is
