@j2 Yes, there will be layoffs but no material planning has started. The metric which is bugging the ELT is that Seagate's opex is about $100M less per quarter than WD. They have structural advantages such as operating in N. Ireland and MN but nonetheless, WD will cut staff to try to match them.
