Choose where you want to live. As long as you can find another job in Charlotte don’t let that deter you. Rich will leave eventually…. Dallas if you want upward mobility
charlotte is not a hub so why would you even consider going there? It has less of a future than even non Dallas hubs.
If you hope to make a career at AT&T, just remember Rich Baich will not stay as long as you may want to and he is the ONLY reason AT&T has a big presence in Charlotte.
Of course hoping to make a career at AT&T is probably a big mistake.
Queue up “Charlotte the H@rlot” by Iron Maiden.
I wouldn’t move for this company under this terrible leadership. Look at the stock price under Stankeys leadership. He’s horrible and everyone he puts in charge are no different. Find a job elsewhere!! The numbers don’t lie and the revenue keeps dwindling. Now they believe AI is gojng to save them. Good luck
I prefer the Charlotte area, but if you're looking for a career at ATT you should go to the headquarters.
WFH
@d9 no it isn’t.
@cx Charlotte is a KNL, its not going anywhere.
Charlotte not a hub
I think we have to live where we have a job, family and friends to support even if it’s a hot pit. So maybe Dallas if it provides that or Charlotte?
Charlotte in a hot second. Dallas is a hot and dry pit.
Why would you choose TX brutal heat when NC offices have plenty of parking with mountains and beach options on the weekends? Plus a decent international airport.
It’s all temporary anyway, so you choose where you want to live your life.
No one is forced to relocate.
