@vg you can come back Monday with another fairytale or excuse about why it didn’t happen. The reality is what it is. You will NEVER receive 104 weeks severance and it’s just as simple as that. I’m not sure who made this up along the way, but it’s not real.

Are the union "layoffs" in my area started with a guaranteed job off. We have a job for you in executive response down in Dallas.

That whole guarantee is kind of a joke.

You’ll never get the 104 weeks severance. Boo hoo hoo… get over it or quit.

There is no package and there is no buyout. Stop with the cache clearing and upvoting. You can’t speak it into existence. You will never get it, just accept that fact. Get over it or quit.

Stop clearing your cache and downvoting people speaking the truth.

You’re an embarrassment.

No one is paying you 2 years wages to leave. Not happening. Ever.

Stop with the repetitive and dimwitted posts.

Please stop the daydreaming. You’ll never get offered a single dollar to leave. Your workload will increase until you can no longer compete the requirements and are fired, or until you decide to leave on your own. Seen it time and time again. You’re fooled if you think this company will ever pay 104 weeks. It may exist in your contract, but HR always finds a way around it. You can believe that.

The remaining CSSS' will most likely get the VTP on June 15th.

Heard of a few non management folks getting and taking offers. Pretty sure a surplus was not declared. Anyone know how those offers structured?

@bv They could make an offer and see who wants to leave on their own, not a surplus.

The dark triaders will do anything under the sun to avoid paying any 104 weeks. The C suiters want that $ for themselves.

Totally false. This is all just a bogus rumor started by Leg T techs, which is what I am. There will be no offers and there are no layoffs for the next 4 years under our contract.

Yeah for sure so many of us want the VTP and we'll forever laugh about getting a two year paid vacation before turning on our pensions, 401k's and social security. It will be a sweet incentive to retire.

That would cost too much. Non union folks will get hit harder.
