Out of sheer (and I mean sheer desperation) I'm considering applying for an open role.
What is the RTO requirement these days? When I got laid off it was 3 days in office, with rumors of going to 4 or 5 days, combined with reporting to show if anyone isn't spending 8 hours everyday in the office.
But where did things actually wind up?
You’d have to be absolutely crazy to return to this horrible torture circus. Charlie and his directs are demonstrating that they hate the US workforce and they want it eliminated, and to accelerate people leaving voluntarily (so that WF doesn’t have to pay severance) they’re slowly cranking the RTO to 5 days x 8 hours.
Doesn’t matter it’s 3 days or 4 days now- it’ll be 5 days by year end. That’s Guaranteed. Wf has Been trending in this direction for awhile.
@fr so i guess that means everyone has to come in at 8. The good news is you can decline all 7am calls.

@aj no they don’t unless they have an accommodation. It will only get worse with the new design. You will be in your neighbors space, no privacy and you will be staring at your neighbor
@OP Agree. Clearly states 3 days and full workday - workday is 8 hours- yes they clarified the 8 hours is considered a full workday

With those who have to rto 3-4 days do they at least get an assigned seat?
Recently retired (thank God) from the dumpster fire aka WF. I think I'd work at the local Quick Lube before I'd return. Think LONG and HARD about your level of desperation.

Most people are 3. Some groups are 4 and some are 5. All have the 8 hour expectation per day
3 days for 8 hours each day unless your lob says more days. You must be desperate and no shame because this place is getting worse by the day. Total s-show.
