Hearing about large scale layoffs.... How many are affected, when is it happening/how long do they think it will take?

I heard Group Audit was told there will be 40% reduction in their team.

Finance has always carried a lot of structural overlap multiple teams asking for the same data in slightly different formats, duplicated reporting cycles, and layers of review that don’t add much value. So it’s not surprising the function is being targeted for streamlining.
