Thread regarding Cigna layoffs

Anyone Else Feel Like They Are Still Trying To Push People out?

Like it’s getting to the point where they are counting how many times I’ve reached out for assistance in a multi month period. For the record these were assigned cases that were rare scenarios I hadn’t come across yet and neither had they lol. I was told i apparently reached out for assistance about a dozen times over a 2.5 month period. lol whatever

@s6 we had some people leave last week… not official RIFs, just people tired of waiting for the next round of layoffs.

Was there a layoff this week?

Received good bye e-mail from coworkers.

@OP

Of course they are trying to push people out. Every time it happens, that's a little less severance and unemployment on Cigna. More money left for executive compensation and those poor folks are barely scraping by.

At least you're asking for assistance. Your leaders su-k for not resolving stuff at this point.

@a5 yeah and these were cases that even the higher ups I asked assistance for had to reach out for assistance as well before getting back to me. Like these weren’t typical cases. And I counted it up on average in that 2.5 month period I asked for assistance about 6.2 times. Me personally I don’t think that’s too terrible but I was told to be aware of it and to try to cut down.

So you’re asking for assistance every 4 days?

Doesn’t seem excessive.
