Annual matching

Yep , I just checked , the annual 401k matching I grafted so hard for went straight into the WFC ESOP account again . Never mind that a have a funds allocation set up for contributions . So annoying. Waiting for an uptick and then will get rid of it asap

Look at the bright side - you are buying low. Now i know why the stock ticked up almost 2% to almost $42 dollars. All the purchases. Way to go

My new employer matches EVERY PAY PERIOD and IN CASH! Quit WF because it’s a scam all around.

Is that because only the smart people go out of their way to defend corrupt financial institutions?? You probably thought people were too hard on Madoff.

Be mindful that, ever since Charlie started, WFC is basically an inverse market ETF.

Yes it has been that way forever. As usual, Wells Fargo employees have to remember to do the dance to avoid getting the big stick up their rear by the C-Suite.

It has always been that way. Where have you been?

it has been this way forever, get over it. at the same time you checked it you could have spent another minute or two and transferred it out, but perhaps that is just too much. I'm just glad our stick is down right now. 41 per share is pretty good, I plan on keeping mine awhile

If you’ve held on to it for the past 8 years, you’ve lost money.

Wells Fargo jams WFC stock into their employee’s 401Ks because it saves them money. It is cheaper than giving us the cash, for tax reasons.

Truly, every one of their moves is self-serving.

Most people do not want their money in WFC stock. It’s an inconvenience to have to move it . The default should be the standard elected allocation . They are relying on many people forgetting or not being aware and leaving a substantial amount of money in the ESOP

C-Suite pawning off the loser stock on their employees as one of our so-called “benefits”. A gigantic lump of coal.

Too bad they weren’t matching with Apple stock 😉.

They disclose in advance where the match will be invested, so why are you feigning annoyance?
