Hate this leadership and hate how even your own leaders are su-king up to them just to save themselves instead of protecting their team

@18r OA and his cronies like DT and useless CMO ki-led the wonderful culture of Pearson. It was bad already but these people came and ransacked whatever remains of the company. It shocks me to see these people play with people's life and get away rewarded. How can anyone live in such an obvious broken system?
It has always been that way - su-k up to the ones above you/cr-p on the ones below you and get rewarded. It'll get worse as more people (who used to care) adopt the su-k up strategy. Omar and his buds su-k up to Davos and wow they have crapped on all of us!
If this job market wasn't as bad as it is I would have been gone in February.

To see our CEO talking about the need for more investment and better succession planning after most of my colleagues have been laid off makes me feel a bit sick. And then to praise the top-heavy leadership team whilst there are hardly any 'boots on the ground' left ...

Have you seen the threatening screen when security training is overdue ? A well-respected colleauge was doing a brilliant presentation but I noticed the warning screen in the background all the time. Like he was being bullied whilst doing a great job. All the security, appraisal, AI etc stuff thrown our way seems to be getting more aggressive ...
Our team hasn't gotten a raise in years. We should just concentrate on watching Inside Man and trying to navigate our desktop screen with that hideous background.
N = No pay rise
E = Executive bonuses
S = Sacrifice
W = Work more
Don’t forget the three Cs - cost savings, cuts, and constraints

Yes speak to CARA, identify the skills you have and the skills you lack. Get your midyear performance review prepared. And look forward to another year of no promotion and insignificant payrise.
Get that career development plan in the system though because Pearson cares about you and is listening/watching.
@OP
A few Bravo points and a couple of compulsory IT security modules and you'll soon feel fully motivated once again ....
