All on my laptop. But hey, good thing I'm at the office because...why exactly?

10 years ago: people on same team/organization were in close proximity to each other. “This group” did “that thing”.
5 years ago: remote work got real, people scattered, moved around the country. and worked from home. Tools and systems were developed to facilitate communications (and video chat became “look at my dog!).
6 months ago: everybody back to work, and go to the office nearest you. We’ll find you a seat.
Now: people in DIFFERENT teams/orgs now in close proximity and using Teams to talk to people 1 to 1,000 miles away.
Some of us predicted this a few years ago…. Get the whole country dependent on remote communications and then bring everyone together in “hubs” so all that noise is concentrated in one place.
Madness.
