Stop H1B, H4 and OPT visas

My team is Full of H1B and H4 visas upto LL5 and they pull their own and most of them don't even qualify.
I have seen many qualified locals were let go just to replaced by visas. How does this even fair? How can we stop this?

Its a self defeating loop. In general people that do this to themselves are lower quality workers with lower IQ.

@e7 It’s not how many hours you put in
It’s what you put into those hours.

Reminds me of a movie.

"Points to the manager requesting 1-14 hours to complete arbitrary tasks...."

Q: "Who's that guy?"

A: "He's an @$$hole sir..."

Q: "Him?"

A: "Yes, he an @$$hole."

Guess what movie????

It’s all about the pay. They will work long days and not complain for very low pay. I am glad my child is going into medicine. I would never recommend for anyone’s children to go into the automotive companies now a days.

I take a shower every morning. It’s what we do in America. And wear deodorant religiously.

Any manager that thinks they need 12-14 hour days to deliver anything is a sloppy mess of a human that doesn't understand their job. Unorganized slop is how they manage their day. People like this are complete train wrecks personally and professionally.

I heard a Ford manager say he can’t deliver projects without H1B employees because he needs people who will work 10–12 hours a day without complaining. Is that really true at Ford Motor Company? Why does Ford need people working for 10-12 hours each day when there is really not much going on?

@OP
Just on Newsmax - Congressman Greg Stube "@RepGregStube"

"India's government is upset about H-1B delays because their citizens are "stranded back home?

Meanwhile Americans have been stranded out of jobs for years while companies use H-1Bs to replace U.S. workers with foreign labor."

We have to start reporting this to immigration authorities. I know they have been very responsive on Twitter/X

Well your best approach would be to contact your representative in the government if you want a realistic approach. I am in 100% agreement with you by the way.
Now for the harsh reality of just why your vote matters, if you are in Wayne County your representative is Shri Thanedar and if you ever did some research you'd be highly disappointed.
You could always go higher and connect with your House Representative and again if you reside in Wayne County that would be the highly respected Rashida Tlaib.
They both are anti-Ice, fully support sanctuary cities and give your tax dollars away to folks coming from other places.
Your best bet is to call the white house (two 0 two) 456 1444 and leave a professional message about your concerns. You get several hundred calls regarding the same topic and you can get results.

Use AI and come up with a script if you have to and here is an example of one:

“Hello, my name is [xxxx], and I’m a resident of Wayne County, Michigan. I’m calling to express my concern about the impact of employment‑based visa programs such as H‑1B, H‑4, and OPT on American workers.

I’ve personally seen qualified U.S. workers laid off or passed over while companies bring in visa holders for the same roles, often at lower wages. This feels unfair and harmful to local workers and families. I’m asking the administration to strengthen oversight, close loopholes that allow abuse of these programs, and ensure that American workers are prioritized.

Thank you for taking my comment and for passing it along.”
