The damage that bad managers leave behind

I have worked for some difficult people over the years, but the two worst managers I ever had were both at Chevron. I am still dealing with the anxiety and stress that came from working under them, and I am not sure I will ever fully recover from those years. My current manager is okay, but I'm scared she'll leave and then who knows what I'll get stuck with again.

If you’re not still working for them move on and toughen up. The problem is taken care of, stop living in the past or blaming others for your inability to handle stress and emotions like a grown up

Most HR managers are this. Entire HRLT is full of GMs with massive personality flaws. You either have to be a complete B$&@#, or a tall white male. Rot starts at the top and spreads.
