Thread regarding Citigroup Inc. / Citibank / Citi layoffs

The Belfast office to be hit with some layoff news at the end of June, maybe sooner.

Now comes the time where I’m challenged to “prove it in 30 different ways, name names and how you know with details all the while not revealing who you are”.

Believe me or not, don’t care either way.

Had the site lead for Belfast stand up at his townhall and say it was pretty much bau regards layoff it will be a few here and there. He wouldn’t lie at all to anyone’s face or the site.

Super low cost location getting hit with large scale layoffs? Come on - the math ain't mathing. Plus, lots of roles coming to Belfast with other banks

Letting go with either higher tenure and or higher pay scale. All to replace them with lower paid staff. Cost savings.
