Now comes the time where I’m challenged to “prove it in 30 different ways, name names and how you know with details all the while not revealing who you are”.

Had the site lead for Belfast stand up at his townhall and say it was pretty much bau regards layoff it will be a few here and there. He wouldn’t lie at all to anyone’s face or the site.
We just hired someone who will sit in Belfast yesterday! Good to know they will have a seat.
Super low cost location getting hit with large scale layoffs? Come on - the math ain't mathing. Plus, lots of roles coming to Belfast with other banks
Letting go with either higher tenure and or higher pay scale. All to replace them with lower paid staff. Cost savings.
Yet we're hiring over a hundred open roles with more recs opening.

and more to come I’m afraid. Some teams will merge and shortly thereafter another trimming of the staff.
There has been quite a few in Belfast this year. We will continue to see it in KYC, Tech, and Ops. Automation.
