Is anyone in Southern California still working for under $5,000 net a month with this level of stress? McDonald’s is paying close to $4k here. Are people really still staying at BofA for this?

I was laid off after 15 years in a senior position and not work for pennies in the west coast…quit complaining about having a good job.

@OP Are you one of those CA employees without an office? One member in my group currently works remote in CA as the assigned office was closed several years ago. The person brags about logging onto the laptop wearing a bath robe and slippers most mornings. As @b8 has stated, stop your whining if you are permanently WFH. The salary difference offsets what we pay for in commutes. Let alone the time getting ready for work. We do not want a stinky person come to the office do we?
