After 20 years..... this is the conversation i got. Its so fake and insincere.....
@ag Of course you have a choice; but there are consequences, and in this cr@p job market getting dejobbed is not a good thing.
Obviously with such a long tenure a big redundancy package and 110% support should be given.
It is true though. The managers are just a cog. They are just the people delivering the message. They literally have no say.
@a3 so sick of this attitude: you ALWAYS have a choice in what you do and say.
The directors who are instructed to talk like that are also a cog in a big wheel; may be a little bigger cog than a IC, but nevertheless a cog. They have no choice but to unfortunately carry out the orders, even when they hate doing that.
