AUA growth

Just heard our AUA had grown by 33% since 2021. Does anyone know that the S&P500 is up 77% over the past 5 years?

Some really stupid people working at this company. AUM is money that particiants have invested... most in broad MF. Thats why the S and P is a correct benchmark. Go back to A and P and bag groceries.

most of the gains in AUA are due to market gains / appreciation as they are for most recordkeepers. The critical number is the net flows in and out. What was the net flow number--Buehler. Buehler. anyone ?

@OP, brilliant insight. Why don't insurance companies just invest in the S&P500? No one has ever thought of that until you noted the better returns here. Well done!
