Noticed recently there are 599 new OGA (offshore) employees, and their U.S. manager was part of the 04/30 layoff.
Anyone out there with more info on what’s to come? Timeline, which departments, etc.

If I recall, Allina and Optum have a 10 year contract that was made difficult/not worth breaking but we’ll see what happens
@14g They do outsource their rcm but no clue what company. It’s not Optum
Does Sutter use Optum? Anyone in CA know?
@db pretty sure their goal is to get rid of us (via offshore employees) before that happens
@ch any idea what that would mean for Allina folks at Optum?
@cg there is a merger with Sutter Health currently in the works
@ce is Allina preparing to exit?
@OP Be prepared for other "Enterprise Partner" exits as there are industry mergers and companies just drop Optum. Most large health systems are either developing their own software or banding together with a handful of friendlies to make their own IT shops.
AI makes it all feasible for customers to rid their Optum habit
@cb yep rev cycle, do a little searching in the outlook org explorer and you shall find
In which area? Rev Cycle? I’m wondering which manager would’ve had that many reports.
There are OGA employees in the former IS groups, but the total there isn’t that high.
