@157 Had an in person hiring event with a PRIME recently. Did not apply for a specific role and they did not have my resume yet. 15 min interview with hiring manager and HR rep with my resume which they were reviewing for the first time. Got offer via phone and email 4 hours later on the same day!
Declined due to commute. Not the location I wanted to work at. 10 mins vs 1 hr commute distance between sites...
Keep your chin up even in this tough job market.
YOU HAVE VALUE!
Don't let the Trusted Disruptor bring you down!
Get yourself out there and get an offer that works for you and your family. After that you can disrupt the Trusted Disruptor when you leave for a better opportunity!
GOD BLESS YOU!
The younger generation is making a run for it. L3harris is NOT the place for anyone who is looking for a Work-life balance 🙄 unless you are working remotely 40hrs max. Learn as much as you can and search for better opportunities. Good luck to all 🙏
Greenville will get hit hard in September
Around 350 to 400 field wide.

@OP layoffs usually come yearly in the 1st quarter and/or late in the 3rd quarter, or sometimes the 4th quarter. Watch. Like clockwork. That’s when the tshareholders want to see results/profits
Many of the people most in demand decided to leave on their own after the insulting merit increase. The ones that stayed with the company in spite of that meager increase have shown everyone including the company that they truly have no place else to go. It looks like enough people voluntarily left the company to ward off any layoffs in the near future.
It's quiet out on the West Coast as far as I know. We had some junior engineers bailing after that less-than-inflation-rate cost of living increase. And they've got a few job postings out here that they sent an email out for. I'm not sure they'll cut much if anything out here in the near term.
