It's true! People expected 2026 to be a better year because the Asset Cap was lifted last summer. Unfortunately, the layoffs and "firings for cause" have accelerated as WF struggles to win business relative to peers. Our leadership can't grow the business. The only trick the OC have is to cut headcount as fast as they can. Expect to see several large layoff waves through the rest of the year.
