We don’t have layoffs for contractors. Their contract with the parent company is terminated. The contractor’s employer can decide if they want to redeploy the contractor at a different company or not. Unfortunately contractor market has been hit hard due to cost pressures across the US.
Design just had an overhaul on leadership. I’m sure some movement will come out of that.
