Same experience with one of the Cigna recruiters. I had a recruiter tell me not to bother applying because I was a high B3 and they would never consider me because of that. From what I’ve seen it’s better to leave and be rehired at a higher band level. Seems like the only way at this point. But what do I know? Only a B3 🤣

@j7 She's probably bitter and peaked in high school. Hang in there, the market will pickup as soon as the administration stops obsessing over fertility rates aka PDF cannibal supply for them.

There’s one recruiter who I would refuse to apply to any jobs listed under her name because I had dealt with her once and never again. She was a b——-

@a1 Is it actually possible to land a role directly through a hiring manager alone? They used to do that in the old days but now we got meddling recruiters (many of which peaked in high school) and HR in the way now.

I hate dealing with recruiters and just refuse to do it.

They’re as useless as real estate agents and can even hurt your chances of landing a role.
