If I leave Optum voluntarily, do I forfeit all my PTO or do they have to pay out what I accrued? Based in Minnesota.

In Nebraska you get it all
Also Optum, I was laid off in March. They paid out 40 hours of PTO, but not any more than that.
I would use ALL MY PTO IF I WAS PLANNING TO RESIGN..JS ..MY OPINION...sorry didnt mean to yell..but i actually speaking for everyone that works works and no time off..use it ..for mental health day for whatever you need /want..Do not save it for later ..think of it this way ..its free money hours that are sitting there for you ...do not feel guilty if you take a day off if you are feeling ok..its for you sanity..to avoid burn out...stress etc..
I don't mind that they don't pay out PTO when you resign, but I think it is bad when they only pay out 40 hrs when you are laid off.
They do not pay out PTO hours in Minnesota. You forfeit it when you leave.
google it, I did but I'm not doing your work for you.
