Heard rumors that professional services team would be impacted. Also, people not meeting expectations (NME) after performance review meeting. Any insights?

@fe 🤣! Best nominated answer on here! 🏆
@fd I think you're under the impression most managers here are good at people management and have the skillset to identify and coach those that are NME. in some BU's by just switching managers changes your trajectory dramatically from NME to top performer.
@f8 you will normally receive a payout unless you visit this site every 5 minutes to see if you are LR’ed, NME, etc
Not filling out Check-in’s is not typically a trip to NME unless you have an OCD manager. If you were notified at mid year in February that you were NME then should not have received a mid year payout. Doesn’t mean you are NME now. Coming up on year end performance reviews where conversation will happen with your manager sometime between May 23 to July 24. If you are NME your manager will tell you. If you want to know now ask your manager during 1:1. But seriously if you are NME you shouldn’t need your manager to tell you.
@eh I completely stopped filling out my teamspace after my first month here. Like I haven't filled out a single one this year. No one has said anything. I guess that's straight to NME
@at Do you not get any kind of pay out if you're NME or PIP and let go as a part of a larger LRs??
You should know or have an idea by now if you are NME. Do the bare minimums? You may be NME, but you will be if everyone around you is stepping up. Late on teamspace, training, time? NME. The easy things people blew off will come home to roost this time through.
Mark my words.. None as no layoffs...
@br webex is quite literally the worst collab software. Search is unusable, thread implementation su-ks, organization of different interactions (space, dm, group, etc) is wholly unacceptable, and emojis are basic corp/boring. The only reason companies use it is a huge discount versus competition. Nobody is actively seeing out webex as a leader in that space.
Collab All Day. Ooops too soon
If you’re nme, can you check in workday?
NME is soo subjective, many groups don't even have SMART goals or KPIs
@am I heard the same from my director during our all hands. "After meeting the SVP, i thought the lights are getting turned off, however we will be continue with the signature accounts which are high in margin. Also the TAC/HTTS support".
Cisco doesn’t want to pay severance so NME, DC and PIP is easy leaders go to choices.
Every day you hear 15-20% layoffs, so what makes you think, Cisco would be different and nicer?
The layoff board participants will be hardest hit from what I'm hearing.
Word on the street is that Cisco is getting out of the professional services business because the margins hurt too much
@a4 afaik your mgr will set it if you are NME or not during the performance review call with you, so you should know it after the call ends
How do you know if you’re nme? Do they have to tell you?
