Huge operation center quietly getting set up in the Philippines. Layoffs every 2 months through 2027. Poland to have massive layoffs. Berwyn Pennsylvania getting gutted. India given increased role they can’t handle. Senior Management denies all and plays d-mb with the mid level managers. Mangers in London, Germany, and Singapore making all the decisions now. This is no longer an American company. Offshore, offshore, offshore. AI, AI, AI - which has proven to be a failure so far. PA is a particular mess, with virtually no competent leaders left. No leaders of people, just senior managers who have no idea of what actually occurs in their own office and couldn’t identify half the people they see on the way to the bathroom. 12-14 hour days are the norm and expected. Run far, far away from this company, unless you are filipino. Then you have a future. Or maybe if you want to do client service. They’ll need to hire more there to explain to all the clients why Rome is burning and the service has become dogshit. Side note, they’ll do a terrible job explaining because they have no idea what is going on. just mouthpieces…. My advice, get out now, especially if you are in the US or Poland. The founders of SS are rolling in their graves at what Uncle Ron and Clair Williams have done to the place.

@152 most foreign born Indi*n workers best strengths are their ability to lie effortlessly. It's part of their culture which they have brought into the STT. It comes to a point where they don't know the difference between facts and fiction.
All the FTE Indi*ns in my team who will never admit to any mistakes. Their excuses is the issues was cause by someone else or other teams. They are usually cautious to show their true self when they are in the same level or below you. But once they move above you, you'll see their manipulation and lies on full display.
One thing I noticed about the Indian staff is it seems their education is just following
a script.
If they cann't find the answer on a script they are completely helpless.
They seem to have no problem solving abilities.
ex-employee here who used to sit in on senior level meetings because my pos sr manager just did not want to attend the meetings. This is all true. Hiring foreigners that say they are educated with degrees, complete nonsense. Then we find out most buy diplomas and certifications. And SS does not see it or doesn't care.

As an old timer who started in 1980 and lasted until 2015 this was once a great company.
People could start out at the bottom and through hard work and learning skills
you could move up the job ladder .
Why do you think I and other people stayed until we retired ?
Great raises and bonuses for workers of all job levels.
Then around 2000yr the company changed to a, cut expenses through any means.
Layoffs, Outsourcing, brining in H1B workers.
PS I was forced to train my replacement if I wanted to get a severance package.

It was quite evident in the GD town hall today that there is no future in the US. Everything "new" and "exciting" is going somewhere else, like India. Any opportunity for the future is outside the US. I'm getting myself off this sinking ship ASAP.
