@370+1kqg6ejs8 LSEG is in desperate need of a change of the leadership of workflows/workspace. Naturally, they are instead doubling down on the worst leaders they've had in this space as they are afraid of investor perception of more exec turnover.

Until LSEG makes a change with Workflows leadership, this initiative will continue going nowhere.

This has been a huge embarrassment and a situation where LSEG bottled an easy win. But it’s not a surprising outcome if you look at the leaders involved.

It was a good idea that was started by an ex-leader of bloomberg IB and ex-symphony leader in workspace as part of microsoft partnership. Shortly after deal sign, those people were let go and the project was turned over to current ex-ubs leaders that have no expertise in this space.

Other attempts at this (like markit federated chat and symphony) had expert leaders and full backing from customer's management and still failed. This is being led by people with no expertise and has no backing from customers (and no actual backing from microsoft either). Its actually already failed, its just being kept alive (and staffed) by LSEG for optics to investors.
